THE RETURN OF THE ORIGINAL COWBOY BOOT

In 1875, CH Hyer invented the cowboy boot in Olathe, Kansas, from his new shop: CH Hyer & Sons Boots. Hyer's boots were worn by everyone from Calvin Coolidge to Will Rogers, who died with a Hyer order form in his back pocket. Through mergers and acquisitions, the brand went dormant around the late 1970s. In 2022, his great-great-great grandson got his family name rights back and decided to bring back the boot that started it all. Inspired by over 100 years of brand archives, we worked alongside the Hyer team to develop an entire brand identity and personality as they enter the new era.

What follows is only a small fraction of the work we've created with Hyer Boots, as the brand is officially launching in spring 2023.
